Keedo’s new store at the V&A Waterfront offers a wide selection of clothes and a play area for the kids to enjoy whilst out shopping. All clothes are locally made using breathable cotton and have fun and colourful designs inspired by nature. What I particularly like about their range is that they cater for the boys who are often forgotten when it comes to clothing.

The Keedo way of thinking focuses on 4 aspects: letting kids be kids by using fun designs that are easy to wear; giving back to kids through Keedo Cares projects; giving back to society by creating local job opportunities and; looking after mother earth through their designs and educational price tags which they hope will instil a love for nature in kids. The individually handmade Rag Dolls are just one of their projects that supports previously disadvantaged women and their families, and would make a thoughtful gift for a kid.

You can visit their website for more information and a catalogue of their clothes. You can also sign up for their newsletter and don’t forget to ask in store for your loyalty card which offers discounts on future purchases.

    1. Hi Siphokazi. I’m so sorry, your message went into my spam folder for some reason. Congrats on the pregnancy. The Keedo factory shop is at 9 Transvaal Street, Paarden Eiland, Cape Town (near the harbour). He’s a link to the google map. http://tinyurl.com/pqbwbef If you click on ‘Get Directions’ you can put in where you live and will give you directions on how to get there. Best wishes
