50 photos of Cape Town that will make you want to live in the Mother City

Cape Town has to be one of the most beautiful cities in the world and I’m very fortunate to live here. Travelstart have compiled 50 photos of Cape Town which will make you fall in love with the city. It’s difficult to narrow Cape Town down to 50 photos and there are other places that would make the list of best spots, and here are just a few of my favourite places. You can see the rest of the top 50 by visiting the Travelstart blog page.

Fun at Melkbostrand Beach

Paige is fearless. Very unlike her mother. And loves the water no matter how cold it might be. When we go to the beach she crawls straight towards the waves and and gives us and others a laugh. Melkbostrand is a lovely beach to visit and what we like most is the ice-cream shop, easy parking, the grassy bank and warmish water (for Cape Town that is). There are showers to clean off and a sidewalk to walk the pram. The other day I saw a mom with a pram set up her umbrella, a chair and relaxed while baby slept – brilliant. I guess I need to start swimming classes with Paige as she loves the water.
