Parents of budding little cyclists should diarise the 2015 Cape Town Cycle Tour Juniors on Saturday, 7 March 2015. A treat is in store for them as the event promises tons of fun, prizes and great activities guaranteed to keep all ages entertained for a fun-filled morning outdoors.
Youngsters between the ages of 0 and 6 years can enjoy a 1.7km fun ride which will introduce them to the basics of cycling in a safe and controlled environment.
The older kids between the ages of 6 and 12 years can tackle the 2.5km, 5km, 7.5km or 10km routes which will help them develop their cycling skills.
Parents must accompany the 1.7km route entrants on foot, while the participants tackling one of the longer routes can be accompanied by a parent on a bike.
To ensure that all riders have a pleasurable and fun experience, entries will once again be limited to a “first-come, first-serve” basis, so parents are encouraged to enter their children early to avoid disappointment.
Online entries for the Cape Town Cycle Tour Juniors will close on Monday, 23 February. Registration will take place between 28 February and 6 March 2015 at the Canal Walk Shopping Centre, where entries can still be purchased. No entries will be accepted on event day.
