BabyGroup.co.za

BabyGroup is a first in South Africa, offering expecting parents and parents an online hub providing quality products, expert information and support during pregnancy, birth and early parenthood.

Update: This website has permanently closed.

When I fell pregnant with Paige, I had a lot to learn about keeping healthy during my pregnancy, what essentials I would need to buy and the luxuries, and coping with a newborn baby, still managing a home and maintaining a strong marriage. It can be overwhelming at times, and every stage of development comes with new joys and challenges and I never stop learning or needing the support of those around me. The internet has been a wonderful source of information for me and now a newly launched website, BabyGroup, offers parents a 3-in-1 online resource: advice; shop and community.

  1. Expert advice on pregnancy, the developmental stages of your child, buying guides and articles relevant to parenthood. Articles are researched and endorsed by their panel of Doctors and Healthcare Professionals to ensure that you get only the best advice. Parents can also share their advice through comments, reviews and recommendations. I have found the articles to be a useful resource as they are in-depth, relevant and easy to read.
  2. Moms and dads can purchase a wide range of maternity and baby items from everyday essentials to quality products from the online shop, many of which aren’t available in any other stores in SA. To celebrate their launch, they are offering free delivery of purchases and a standard price match guarantee on essential items.
  3. Community network where moms and dads provide mutual support, tips and tricks to make parenting easier.

Soon they will also be adding a listings site which will provide useful peer reviewed information on courses, services and events for moms and babies. For those who own a business, keep a look out for the launch as it will be completely free to list. To find out more and to shop online, visit their website at www.babygroup.co.za, follow them on Twitter and their Facebook Page

  1. I love JoJo Maman Bebe products – Amy gave us two beautiful sleepsuits from London when we had Ava. So I’d have to say the JoJo Maman Bebe cotton tights – either in floral or the bright pattern – would be my first choice, with the Bam Bam beanies a close second. Oh, and also the Bibisili silicone bibs – they seem like a good idea!

  2. Lovely site, so hard to choose which item my favourite, think the Annabel Karmel
New Complete Baby & Toddler Meal Planner tho, im sure it will be very handy
